Garlic that was planted in October of 2016 was ready to be harvested this week. These plants took up a space of about 10 x 10 feet in the garden. That space will be made ready to have a crop of Fall lettuce planted. That corner of the garden was the site of my original compost pile. The ground is very crumbly and rich.

Garlic is known for its medical purposes and there are more benefits that we can get from it. We often see them in the kitchen and the taste that they give is undeniably tasty. I will search for more articles that talks about garlic and there are other plants that have same medical benefits that we can get from it. I will plant some garlic in the backyard and I will take care of it so that I may use it in times of need.

I never knew that garlic looked like this before they are harvested! They remind me of how onions look like before farmers harvest them because it looks exactly the same thing. I know this because my family owns a huge farm back in our hometown and we are the main source of onions in our place. It has been that way ever since before I was born so I guess no one really wanted to compete with our family. I like being able to see things like this because it makes me curious about how other vegetables are harvested.

I am on garlic therapy right now. I eat raw garlic. I eat like the whole apple of it and that would be eight cloves or more. It sounds silly but it's actually helping with hypertension. It can also cure colds. I am not sure why or how but it really works. What I like about this natural therapy is that it does not have side effects and you don't become dependent or addicted to it. Who would be addicted to its sting? It's a little inconvenient but if it's healthy then I really don't mind.

Yes, I agree. It is indeed a creative act for a young lad like you. I also love planting trees and plants. I have my own backyard here. I guess you can call me a "green thumb" person. I don't know, maybe I got it from my grandmother because she loves planting. I just think that garlic can be a good recipe to a lot of delicious meals. By the way, thank you for posting this!
